Skribbl.io is a large-scale online game where you have to draw and guess what another user has drawn. It reminds many people of Pictionary. Before the beginning, the one who draws is given a choice of 3 words. Other users in the process write guesses but can only see messages with wrong answers.

How to play

Immediately after starting Skribbl.io, you will need to come up with a name. It is not recommended to use your full name or initials. It is important to remember that the game is multiplayer, which means that any information can go further than this resource.

If there are no ideas for a name, the site will generate one on its own. There's no need to make an elaborate one; in any case, there's a limited number of characters available for the username.

The next stages of the game:

  • Language selection. The system will select the optimal room where the majority will speak the desired language.
  • Character selection. The user can change the shape of the eyes or mouth of their character. It is also possible to create a random character.
  • Waiting. If the player is left in guessing mode, they must first wait for the presenter to finish drawing.
  • Word guessing. There are several clues on the screen. For example, at the top of the page, you can see dashes that indicate the number of letters in the word.
  • Evaluation of the drawing. Special buttons are provided for this purpose.

Any guessed word will bring points. If another user wins the round, the system will inform about it.

The host's move is passed around the circle. Therefore, everyone will have the opportunity to draw their own word from the three proposed. It is recommended to depict the riddle as clearly as possible, using different colors and tools.
